STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS
PAYMENT STAGES 1-2-3
1. As a general rule payments are as follows: £500 booking deposit – this covers all administration work from that point up to installation and is non-refundable.
2. 2–4 weeks prior to installation a further payment of 25% will be required to cover ordering of materials required.
Should you wish to cancel after this point an amount can be partially refunded after administration costs and restocking costs – if restocking is not possible due to special order, then goods will be charged at full price.
A third payment tbc generally 40–50% will be asked for during installation once you have a sufficient amount done generally, 1 week prior to completing.
3. Balance payment and extra’s if done to be paid in full asap or 5 working days after completing.
If in the event that some goods are out of stock then the balance will be reduced to 75% to be paid at that point with the remaining 25% on completion.
If these payment options are unsuitable, please discuss with Jason about alternative options tbc.
Please make sure you have a written copy via email / text, WhatsApp about any verbal agreement made.
Any non-payment will void any expected certification and guarantee.
All goods supplied will be owned by Moore’s of Burbage until paid for – in event of non-payment goods owned can be removed from site for restocking.
WARRANTY
All work is Guaranteed for the statutory 12 months from end of installation date.
What’s included in that:
All Materials supplied and Labour carried out by Moore’s of Burbage that has been paid for.
Any appliances / Sinks / taps / Gadgets etc supplied by Moore’s of Burbage may be covered by additional warranties or extended warranty by the Manufacturers – however any work required to be done by us in connection of these products is only covered by the statutory 12 months and labour required after 12 months will be chargeable at an hourly rate and call out.
Any appliances / Sinks / taps / Gadgets etc Not supplied by Moore’s of Burbage may be covered by additional warranties or extended warranty by the Manufactures, however any work required to be done by us in connection of these products is only covered by the statutory 12 months providing this is an installation issue and labour required before and after 12 months will be chargeable at an hourly rate and call out.
Please make sure within one month after finishing you have filled in any warranties.
If reporting an issue within the 12-month warranty, we, Moore’s of Burbage, will assess the issue and report back with a solution and rectify the issues as soon as possible free of charge if we are at fault.
If in the unlikely event that you don’t feel confident in the ability of Moore’s of Burbage to address the situation it’s your right at this point to introduce a mutually agreed independent expert to arrange a solution & cost accordingly.
Once both parties have agreed then and only then can work be arranged and agreed by the independent expert.
Should you decide to carry out the repair yourself or via another contractor then this will void your warranty.
Please make sure you have or have requested an invoice stating your appliances as you will require this as proof of purchase.
Any certification that is due is generally issued within 2 months of finishing once all bills are paid.
If in the event that you have not received all paper work please contact us about this within 3 months as after this time it may not be possible to track down the results.
Please make sure you follow the Care and Maintenance guides of the supplied products.
The Care and Maintenance guide supersedes any verbal conversations you may have had with any member of the Moore’s of Burbage team – non-compliance could or will result in warranty issues.
Any guides not supplied that are required please email below or look online as this will be your responsibility to look after your products.
